Butterfly Home and Outdoor Garden Decor Makes Senior Gardening Even More Fun

by Kaye Swain

The Sandwich Generation granny nanny loves pink things like cast iron butterfly stepping stones for the garden design

It's PINK Saturday and over at SandwichINK you'll find some fun and pink updates for my senior mom's newest butterfly garden design ideas for summer gardening fun. In the course of writing that, I discovered so many cute choices of butterfly home decor and yard art, I just had to share some with you, starting with the garden decor pictured above, namely the sturdy and cute cast iron butterfly stepping stones for the garden above.

How about this cute butterfly yard art – a sweet Welcome plaque adds color to your home decor as your guests walk up to your front door.

This butterfly yard art welcomes visitors into your home and adds to your lovely decor

My senior mom loves to spend time in the back yard with gardening projects. But she tires easily, so she definitely needs to have plenty of places available to sit down and rest. Check out this cute butterfly garden bench. It has the look of wrought iron but it's made out of cast aluminum and has a durable, all-weather, rust-free powder coated finish. It's full-size and my senior mom will love it!

If you love wrought iron garden furniture you might also love this rust-free butterfly garden bench - delightful for a senior moms gardening rests

And finally, my senior mom loves those cute decorative metal butterfly garden stakes and sure enough, I found one of them too.

My senior mom loves to add extra color to her gardening with decorative metal butterfly garden stakes

Lots of fun and pretty butterflies for you and your senior parents' butterfly home and outdoor garden décor. A lovely way to spruce up your landscaping designs, give your elderly parents a comfortable spot to rest when gardening, and they even make great gifts for the elderly parents and relatives in your families. Definitely fun for all of us in the Sandwich Generation.

These are beautiful, I love butterflies. My brother has been planting a meadow and other flowers to deliberately attract these beautiful creatures to our garden. Thank you for sharing these ideas.

I enjoy my yard. Wish I had some of these pretty yard decorations. I have a few, but nothing to compare to these.

Ohhh Nics, That sounds lovely. I’ll look forward to seeing you post about his meadow and flowers in the future. 🙂

Thank you Kay, I love spring too! Today, tho, it’s more like late autumn – fortunately another favorite season of mine. 🙂 And both have lovely flowers for our landscaping designs, so that’s good. 🙂

Hi LaVoice, It is fun to look around, isn’t it 🙂 I love to enjoy the different landscaping designs my neighbors have as well 🙂

Hi Kay, Last year we had so many butterflies and I even had some alight on me. As soon as the butterfly bushes start blooming I hope to see them all back again. They are such special gifts to have the garden aren’t they? Happy Pink Saturday to you and your Mom. xo

Woohoo, Lynn! That sounds so delightful! I’ll pass it on to my senior mom for gardening encouragement 🙂
