Sweet Shot Tuesday

Pssssst, are you caring for elderly parents and helping them with their real estate needs? Want to see a pretty flower for landscaping designs for them OR you? One that's easy maintenance for your senior gardening, looks great, and makes delightful bouquets for your whole Sandwich Generation family, from the grandkids on up to the elderly senior citizens?  Here tis, …my beloved hydrangeas, taken with my easy to use digital camera, just for Sweet Shot Tuesday, (can you tell I like EASY in a variety of ways – it's perfect for this Sandwich Generation granny nanny!)

Hydrangeas make such a nice addition to landscaping designs for those of us caring for the elderly parents - they look lovely but require minimal care - and make lovely bouquets for senior citizens and grandkids alike

As I was snapping the photos, I noticed that the leaves were as beautiful as the flowers – and yet, the flowers are what we notice. But when you stop and think about it, the leaves are just as important as the blossoms. In fact, because of feeding the plants, they are downright vital to the flowers.

Isn't that just like so many of us caring for our aging parentsCaregivers aren't always noticed and they rarely make the headlines (unless they do something really wrong), but caregivers are vital to those they care for. And what a blessing caregivers are to their carees. To me, that's pure joy!

Just like leaves - the Sandwich Generation caring for elderly parents may not get much attention - but they are absolutely essential

"In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"  Acts 20:35

Have a lovely Word-Filled Wednesday, full of uplifting Bible verses and pictures to encourage the Sandwich Generation. 🙂

WooHoo - theres even a gorgeous RED easy to use Canon Powershot digital camera - perfect for the Sandwich Generation boomers and seniors who love REDMy senior mom and I are so enjoying taking walks, looking at which neighborhood houses are for sale or rent, watching for yard sales, and getting cute gardening ideas along the way. My senior mom and I love to enjoy the lovely gardening projects in our friends landscaping designs

Aren't these gorgeous red flowers delightful for anyone's landscaping designs?  How are your senior parents' gardening projects?
